The reason many come to Mörrum. Sweden's most famous salmon and sea trout water runs right past the house, renowned among anglers across Europe. Licences at Sveaskog, 2 km away.
A scenic forest fishing area with 23 lakes and a river stocked with rainbow and brown trout, pike, perch and whitefish. An easier day, or a first rod for the children.

Deciduous forest, granite and sea, with accessible trails for all ages and mobilities, WWII bunkers and fortifications to explore, and quiet, beautiful surroundings. Great for a walk.
Pack a picnic and swimwear and board the M/F Anemon at Matvik for a day in the Hällaryd archipelago. It calls at Östra Bokö, Fölsö and Joggesö on the way to Tärnö. Östra Bokö has a sandy beach, fresh water, a barbecue spot and a campsite.
One of Sweden's finest cycle routes, 270 km from Växjö through Blekinge to Simrishamn, mixing coast and deep forest, each stop with its own character. Maps at the tourist offices along the way.
A full family day out: water slides like the Magic-Hole and Aqua-Catch, playful water features, heated pools and a Japanese garden with spa, all set in the award-winning Brunnsparken.
The Eriksberg safari and the island-hopping day both delight younger guests, and the shallow, child-friendly beaches along the coast are only 2 km from the house.
